I have been going here occasionally for a year and a half and everytime I go here the food and sushi is always wonderful. A kei is a wonderful guy that makes you feel welcome all the time and always makes you smile :) I enjoy every moment spent here

I have eaten at Wasabi many times and also gotten their food to go many times. I have eaten both the sushi and the Habachi. The sushi has always been good, but there are a few rolls that come out different every time they are ordered. There are also many items that they have on their menu that they never seem to have in stock. I assume that it is because they use a standard order form for their table menus. If you go there in the summer the temp of the restaurant is fine, but if you go in the winter wear some extra layers as it is always rather cold. When I was there last time I was wearing a long-sleeve shirt, which usually means that I will be roasting to death, and I was really thinking about putting my winter jacket back on. Lastly the service is so-so. I would say that their staff, which seems to change often just needs more experience. So in conclusion I still like Wasabi and I will keep going back because their sushi is good and outweighs the no so great things.

Highly recommended for the Hibachi grill and the sushi. I have been here about four times and have never been disappointed. Yum yum sauce makes everything better.

I went here for the first time on my birthday with my mother and grandmother. We felt the Hibachi Chef we got was very kind and pleasant, but personally, I found the presentation while grilling our food a tad on the corny side. He was quite young though, so I'm guessing he will improve as he gets older. I would estimate him at high school age. I eat at Japanese places for the fun presentation and clearly because I enjoy Japanese food. My mom & I both ordered the Chicken Teriyaki and it was delicious. I could literally eat the sauce they serve with it by the spoonful. My grandmother ordered Salmon and also was pleased with her meal. We also ordered some Crabmeat Rangoon as an appetizer and I found them to be better than others I have had at other places, and the soup that came with our meal was very good too. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the overall atmosphere had sort of a dark and gloomy feel to it. The hibachi stations looked quite dated like they were from the 70s or 80s. We were starving when we got there and it did take longer than I had expected for our Chef to actually come out and cook for us, which was why we ordered appetizers to begin with.

Amazing...sushi in Western Wisconsin? Yes! Food is very fresh and you can make your own plate from the fresh buffet and they grill it up in minutes. Been there 3 times and it is great every time! Very friendly staff and great service. Kid and family friendly. Highly recommended.

I ate here for the first time recently while I was traveling in the area. When first entering the restaurant, I noticed that they did have pretty nice decor, and the atmosphere was comfortably casual. I went with a group of six, and we were all pretty pleased with our dishes. The restaurant does not have a huge sushi roll selection; however, my friends and I sampled several rolls and they were all decent. The California Roll, and Tuna Roll are both pretty standard. The Dragon Roll is quite good. Me and another friend tried their Chicken Yaki-Soba. The noodles were cooked well, and the it was quite a good dish. The veggies were flavorful, and I didn't find the food overly oily. I also ordered the Crab Rangoon. They came on a nicely put together platter with sweet & sour sauce. They were better than the crab rangoon i've had at many other Japanese places. Over all, I would recommend coming here. The prices were reasonable, and the service was fine. If you are in the area and want Japanese food, this is a good place to go.

Food bland, service was slow and poor. Need to stick to how the food should taste. Don't cater do how everyone else likes it

Although it was quiet on a cold winter day... they were more than willing to make a wonderful assorted sushi platter for us. Really for being in a sleepy little town and we were just passing through and took a chance the food was fresh and amazing!! I really wish we had tried more of the choices... Great Job!!

The sushi had great flavor and the hibachi chef was entertaining. We went with a group of 15 so the service was slow but they comped us crab ragoons and 2 rounds of drinks to make up for the service. The food was worth the wajt and I highly recommend it to everyone!
